Choosing a cordless electric drill - What to look for

The first aspect could consider choosing a cordless battery must be the volt driver-drill has a couple more you could get. This essentially means that the engine must turn faster to create more power. The only drawback is that the more volts your drill has the heavier it is.

The angle drill is designed for use in confined spaces. Its main feature is the angle of the neck. Unlike a typical year, a corner of Trapani Profileallows the exercise to be used at a distance and in areas where the body of a year, do not allow access. Although they may not be able to offer power and torque of conventional drilling tools are very useful, especially around the house. An example would be a hole in a drawer to mount a handle, the normal position of an exercise can be difficult, but the body of a drill with an angle in the tray, leaving plenty of room for the hand of the operators.

Beforecordless drill drivers arrived, most spikes grab the gun, when the handle is behind the engine, like the handle of a weapon. But most of today's wireless models are equipped with a T-handle: The handle base flares to prevent slippage from the hand and to adapt to a battery. Because the battery is centered on the weight and volume of the engine, T-handle provides better overall balance, particularly in heavier drills. Furthermore, the T-handle drills may come more often in tight spaces, because the hand is outAs the center of the drill. But to target the heavy drilling and driving large screws, a pistol grip allows a higher pressure - almost directly behind the tip - which allows you to put more pressure on the job.

Drivers accessories including cordless drill bits for drilling in wood, metal, ceramics, glass and masonry. In addition to other accessories include drill bits, saws, screwdriver bits, files, rasps, and Sanders.

If a Li-ion battery is stored with too lowcharge, we run the risk of leaving the goods do not fall within the low battery voltage, resulting in an unrecoverable dead battery. Once the load has been reduced to this level, recharging can be dangerous. Some batteries therefore have an internal safety circuit which might prevent charging in this state, the battery may be dead for all practical purposes. In cases where a second Li-ion battery is available for a particular product, you should usethe discharge of the battery by 40% and place in refrigerator to prolong its life. While the battery can be used or charged immediately, some Li-ion batteries can provide more energy when brought to room temperature.

Electric or portable (battery) of the drill can be a scary thing. But are difficult to use. The pilot drilling most municipalities have a gun, which makes them easy to carry and use. The drill has a trigger push to rotate the drill.Sometimes there is also a safety button is the pistol grip to be depressed while pressing the trigger to rotate the drill bit. The battery is typically inserted into a basin at the bottom of the pistol grip. Among the uses of the battery is charged in another medium that is connected to an electrical outlet.

Don't waste your money! - wilkili - Atlanta, GA
First, the bolt that it comes with to attach the guard would not fit through the three holes it was supposed to go through. I had to go to the hardware store and buy a thinner size bolt. The instruction manual that comes with it was not clear and the illustrations did not seem to match the model I had. (The parts did not look like the pictures). I was able to get it cranked on the first try and let it run for about 2 minutes per the instructions. Then I tried cutting and it seemed to cut at first but then the cutting mechanism seemed like it was not turning as it should. I shut it off after only a few minutes. I then tried to re-crank it and it would not crank again. I also noticed that after only 2-3 minutes of running, then engine was extremely hot. This is being returned tomorrow.

Factory Reconditioned Weed Eater TE475Y 17-Inch 25cc 2-Stroke Gas Powered Curved Shaft String Trimmer

Factory Reconditioned Weed Eater TE475Y 17-Inch 25cc 2-Stroke Gas Powered Curved Shaft String Trimmer Review

I've owned this exact model, a TE475Y, for several years and mostly love it--the auto line feed design is way, way better than the bump-type at least in my experience. So when I decided I needed a spare trimmer and found it here on Amazon, I was very pleased indeed, EXCEPT that the reviews here made me nervous about mail-ordering it for sure. But in the end, this product seems no longer available anywhere locally, so I decided to "Prime" order it, and with overnight delivery to hopefully minimize the potential for shipping damage.

So I ordered it Monday and (of course!) received it Tuesday and sure enough the box was caved-in quite a bit, but luckily the two (yes, only two!) pieces of packing tape "securing" either end were intact, so the end flaps were secure and there were no missing parts. But it's true...AMAZINGLY there is no packing material inside the box whatsover! Zero, zip, nada, none! My goodness, they could at least have wrapped the power head in a piece of bubble-wrap!!!???!!! Come-on, Amazon, have your warehouse guys open the box, wrap the engine, and *adequately* re-tape the thing and you will save yourselves and your customers a lot of grief! Oh, well, enough griping--despite this embarrassing packing situation I had no cracks or broken parts or anything; maybe overnight FedEx is the way to go indeed.

Today I fired it-up and trimmed for a couple hours; excellent, this is just a wonderful machine and I'm sorry that Poulan has apparently decided to retire the design. But at least spare parts are still very readily available; it was even sold under the "Sears Craftsman" brand so lots of repair parts are available from many sources including of course our very favorite "store", Amazon.com! Thanks!

Fellas- Here's the Scoop! - ZootCapri101 - GA
I have owned one of these for probably going on 7 years now and I love it. The Twist-N-Lock trimmer feature is so handy and my lawn looks soo neat when you trim and edge each time you mow.

Was looking for these in the stores and they're getting scarce. Called Poulan the mfr and they said these trimmers are being phased out, so I started looking around and purchased a replacement for when old faithful expires. Ordered from Amazon, super price, free quick delivery and yes- the things definetly not packaged very well, but it did arrive without anything broken.

Tried to start and I couldn't get it to run. Only would fire when you primed the carb, than would stall out. Called the mfr to complain and they said they're adjusted to the whacked out Calif EPA pollution standards. They suggested getting the carb adjusted at a service center. Found one, and the mechanic tweaked it for a short while and it runs great. He said they're waay to lean.

Try one of these trimmers and find a compentent small engine mechanic and spend a few bucks for a terrific little trimmer. Also, use Star-Tron fuel additive, ethanol in gas is a problem. Gd Luk

Amazon customer service rocks, Weed Eaters does not! - JC - Rochester, NY
First trimmer arrived DOA, called the support number provided (Weed Eater customer service), was hung up on 2 times, was told that I got the 'After hours parts order line' once, and another telling me I'd have to take item to an authorized service center and pay for them to teach me how to start it (I did trouble shooting down to absolutely no spark, fuel was fine). I told them this, and was re-read I would have to pay for instruction and use my time & effort to correct their issue. I objected to this, informed Amazon of the situation, was told they would check & get back to me, within hours another unit was on it's way, no questions asked. Thank you Amazon for being so responsive & a responsible seller. I would drop Weed Eater products though, as it seems they may tarnish your reputation.

SST25 Junk - M. Oswald - PA
First time used the Guard broke off and hit my leg. Less than 2 hours on machine. Warranty services was a joke. Drove 2 hours to be told by the dealer, they would not handle warranty issues as directed by company. 2 weeks of agravation to try and obtain a part.

This is a real piece of crap! - Jack Daniels - Missouri,MO USA
I bought my first featherlite weedeater back in 1992 and it died on me in 2007, I figured 15 years for a [...] weed trimmer was fantastic!
I had such good luck with the first one so I decided to buy another featherlight weedeater (SST25) and in less then a year and a half it got harder and harder to start...... and now it won't even attempted to start.
I took it all a part and pulled the screen out of the exhaust and threw it away then replaced the two fuel hoses along with cleaning out the carb completely and replacing the spark plug, fresh gas/oil to boot.
I put it all back together and just like before it still won't even act like it wants to start.
I have no idea what 3rd world country this is now made in .....and I really don't care as it is going to the trash!
I guess I'll just bite the bullet and spend [...] and get me something that will last me for the next 15 years without any problems....... so my next weed trimmer will be a Shindaiwa!

To do something like a picnic usually hexagonal or octagonal table is a list of what is needed for picnic table plans. May be as follows.

Saw 1) circular. (Skillsaw)
2) A compound miter saw, which rapidly and accurately projects easier.
3) a drill and a saw to make the hole for the umbrella.
4) Hammer. (And / or a nail gun gaspreparation.)
Tape measure 5). Punch. Main floor small. Adjustable square. Pencil.
Six feet (2m) Straight edge. (A single piece of wood to the right.)

Also require some security devices, such as headphones for the noise of chainsaws, safety goggles to prevent eye chips.

How do you get the most complex projects may require other simple tools, such as a flight level, router, jigsaw, electric aircraft, machinery and saws and flat biscuits.

The most important thing to remember is that saying, "How I use this machine."

Piece of Junk!! Run away from this Deal! - Michael A. Nilson - Chicago, IL
I purchased this after owning another Weed Eater for over 10 years. It seemed like a great deal, and maybe it is if you get one that works. I sent mine back twice. The first time it would not run at all. The second time it would die when you released the trigger. The whole ordeal was very frustrating from start to finish. I ended up buying an Echo SRM-225 for 0 from a local dealer. I am glad I did, and should have done that in the first place. I want to rate it Zero stars, but the review process does not let me do that so I gave it one star.

had to have carburator adjusted - J. Dunn -
This didn't work when I first got it...had to pay someone to adjust the carburater.

What happened to quality control? - M. Byers -
My shopping experiences with Amazon are usually first rate. This one was not.

My Weed Eater arrived in a large box - with no packing material. It is designed to be tough but I would expect something to keep it from banging around in transit.

When I fueled it up, the machine was very hard to start and then wouldn't run with any speed - it died whenever I reved the engine. The second time I started it, I noticed my finger was getting wet when I pumped the primer bulb - it turned out the bulb was split. After two starts, it simply would not run or even attempt to start.

I took the Weed Eater to a local implements shop to get a new primer bulb. They found that the fuel line was dry rotted and had broken and the primer bulb was dry rotted.

I got it fixed but would have been better off and would have saved money had I just bought a new unit.

This unit had grease pencil markings on it, so someone looked at it but they didn't look much.

I bough a reconditioned chain saw from Amazon at the same time. It never started and required service at a local shop.

I will never again buy a reconditioned item from Amazon and caution anyone considering this to understand that two out of two is a perfect bad record.

Safety knife - Do not go to work without

The reasoning is simple: If employees have access to a good tool, usable, will be used to prevent the risk of injury or damage. In all aspects of the work today, the safety knife is making its presence - and use - known. Note, emergency personnel with a belt of skin to remove a wounded child in the wreckage of a vehicle or the opening of bags of flour baked effortlessly with mills food bag securely. Imagine a team of animal rescue disaster waste cutting chain cables and plastic surrounding wildlife injured after a flood.

Safety cutters take many forms, but have found a prominent place in nearly all workplaces. They are known as safety knives, safety cutters, knives, knives, knives, hooks, cutters and much more.

In the retail trade and restaurants, the essential tool for the hand has been around for generations. Not just for the boxes, safety knife can be used in almost all sectors. Employersgiving access to security blade reads its employees the tools to maintain the convenience and use.

Endless Features

Most of the work performed by employees, which could be improved by a cutting tool is only for work. Even though they may be largely unaware of the specific area of specialization, employers or managers should consider the functions are very useful for their employees. Physical properties available are too numerous for inclusion: the blade and ergonomic handle features, shape, size andstrength of leaves, replacement, or a sheet of rapid change, distributors of sheet, plate and disposable in order to preserve the security of this workshop are few options available. This is a rapidly evolving and new elements and features are available to employers with regularity.

Selection

Think about what your employees are doing and ask yourself the following questions before buying knives security

1. Talking with employees with experience to their needs. Ask for samples of various security servicesknives or other blades, and let the employees try to see what works. Listening to users in the forefront.

2. What is the weight of the item is to be cut? This is a situation of multi-material, or material to be cut all day?

3. What positions will be used when using the knife? It will be a horizontal or vertical?

4. There humidity, corrosion, or electrical hazards?

5. How often the employee uses theknife?

6. What are the special needs of employees?

7. There is a history of injuries to workers in this position through increased security with knives? As a better selection of professional knives to help reduce downtime?

Safety Training

Gone are the days of delivery of a new tool for an employee and tell how to use it. To minimize damage to places of work, to maximize awareness and elements of the training provided by manufacturers and safety utility knifeand distributors. The training may include presentations, videos, online training sessions, and literature, often in several languages. Above all, make sure that employees understand the replacement sheet, the value of maintaining a sharp blade at any time by removing the leaves are used correctly.

After the knife safety, and once the training and knives were placed with employees, document what works and what needs attention and further discussion. Ask for feedback from employees.

ConsiderThe following list of potential security problems on which to focus:

1. The institutions were evaluated by a competent person in terms of activities that can be improved with the proper use of knives or blades of worker safety?

2. There is a designated area for employees to view training materials for the use of knives or blades correctly?

3. It is the need for knives or blades specialized evaluated regularly by the security staff that the change in operations orgrow?

4. There is a designated person responsible for the security plan for security on hand, including cutting tools? A history of injury has been documented?

5. Is this person with knowledge of the risks of cuts and possible situations in your school?

6. And 'The team chosen by workers and supervisors who use cutting tools, rather than elected on the basis of cost?

7. The team has evaluated and tested before purchase and beyondother elements for the acceptance of employees and profit?

8. Employees are encouraged to keep a sharp blade for replacement, if necessary?

Poulan Pro PP125 17-Inch 25cc 2-Cycle Gas Powered Straight Shaft String Trimmer With Split Shaft

Poulan Pro PP125 17-Inch 25cc 2-Cycle Gas Powered Straight Shaft String Trimmer With Split Shaft Review

My Poulan Pro pp125 arrived quickly and has worked great! It starts easily, idles perfectly, and with the Tanaka Quiet line I bought at Amazon it cuts really well. I live in Hawai`i on 2 acres and am using it to cut the Guinea Grass which is 4 feet high and quite tough, but the trimmer is doing the job. I thought I would need a brush cutter, but that isn't the case. I think the Poulan Pro pp125 is an excellent value, and with free shipping a great deal!

I bought the following items at Amazon along with the Poulan Pro pp125:
Tanaka 746570 Quiet Trimmer Line, .095-Inch x 285'
Tanaka Perfect Mix 2-Stroke Oil 6.4 oz. Bottle - 6 Pack #700207
Dewalt DPG55-11C Clear Anti-Fog Protective Safety Glasses with Dual-Injected Rubber Frame and Temples

Before buying the pp125 I read all the reviews, which I found quite helpful. What I found was that the negative reviews were mainly from people that had problems with the engine stalling when accelerating the engine. The one star review titled "Not as Good as I Hoped" by Araxiel is the one that got me thinking. In it he says "A worker who was doing repairs on a neighbor's house comes over and tells me that my problem with stalling is that my oil/gas mixture has too much oil." In a Comment he wrote "Update: I took the advice of the worker who recommended adding some gas to the tank to reduce the percent of oil in the mix. I put in about 4 ounces and lo and behold, the trimmer ran perfectly." He now has the pp125 rated 4 stars!

I am using the Tanaka Perfect Mix oil at a 50:1 ratio as recommended and it works great. On the Tanaka website, in their FAQ section, I found that the gas to oil ratio should be what the oil manufacturer has listed, and not what the manufacturer of the engine has listed. A part of one of the answers has "there are 16:1, 25:1, 32:1, 40:1 42:1, 50:1, etc. However, if you analyzed these oils, you'd find very similar amounts of the actual ingredients needed to provide the life allowing lubricity (even at these odd ratios)." This means if you take 50:1 oil and mix it at 40:1 there will be too much oil in the mix, so we need to make sure we are mixing the oil and gas as the oil manufacturer lists. I don't know what oil Araxiel was using but I think this is very important information!

I contacted Poulan Pro and asked about the oil ratio and received the response "Any good two stroke air cooled not water cool will work. 40/1 is OK." I wrote back providing the link to the Tanaka FAQ I have listed above and also wrote "A 40:1 ratio when using Tanaka Perfect Mix is not appropriate." He replied with "Thanks I will send this on to the engr. group."

thanks - Gregory H. Aptt - fl,usa
I purchased this trimmer to replace an old one that was more work than what it was worth. I also have not even started this one up as of yet, but have great faith it will perform well.

Dissastified - Discover -
This is the worse trimer I've purchased.
I could not get it started, therefore,I called Homelite and based on my discription of the problem it was determined that the carburator needed adjustment.
They refered me to a local repair shop who replaced the carburator with a new one, after they kept it from 7/22/09 to 8/14/09(24 days)
Now after pulling the starter grip approx.14 or 15 times it does start.
Needless to say I'm very dissastified with this product, which I will not recomend to anyone.

Not happy with this product. - H. Cain - South Dakota
First pull and the cable came all the way out and we had to take it apart to put back. After that we couldn't get it started. We purchased a Poulon and just wrote it off as a loss.

Fully Automatic Concrete

Fully automatic gas nailers for concrete are the fastest ways to solve the concrete. Fully automated tools are available from Hilti, powers and Rams. These tools were originally designed to monitor the cement fixing drywall, hence the name "Trakfast" and "Trak", but they have become useful tools for many different trades What are these standards different nail gun powder actuated tools for concrete correct what can be used?

Basic Principles of Gas Tools

Tools gases are essentially internal combustion engine with a cylinder, piston, spark plug, fuel source and a source of ignition. Both Ramses and drums, while the use of work tools without Hilti. When you press the tool against the work surface, a measure of fuel is injected into the cylinder and pull the trigger, a spark lights the fuel, the piston and turn the setting.

Most of the instruments in a magazinecelebration of the 40 pins that you can take almost as fast as you pull the trigger. Some tools, such as Ramses T3 SS tool used in one shot with a unique variety of pines and assemblies, such as EMT and belt clip ceiling.

Gas uses tools

As mentioned above, a section of drywall is the most common use of these tools. Consider other uses of these tools. Waterproofing membrane for foundations. For electrical work, cabling EMT, the roofclips and hooks. With the variety of pins available, the general contracting bands can pull up to the mark, Powers C-4 has the tools to cut a 2 x 4, Ramses has a PIN that is fired up blocks of heavy plywood. Stucco Contractors and turning tool can be used to install metal lathe by a metal disk that mounts on the stem of the instrument.

Distinct advantages

Besides the speed of these tools, you can find some advantages over instruments of dustfixing to concrete. Unlike dust instruments, these tools do not require certification. Do not get me wrong, you can always enter a PIN code in hand, but not required by the operators of cards. You can not overdrive these instruments have an internal stop to prevent it. Not to select different levels of power tools and dust. For the most part, are free from problems. In theory, you can put pins in 20,000 without service. This amount decreases with the difficult questions, such as use of outdoorabsence of regular use.

Finally ......

Because of their cost, these instruments may not be for everyone, but I always thought that any tool that allows you to save money is a free, after a job or two and who does not love free tools?

Poulan Pro PP325 17-Inch 25cc 2-Cycle Gas Powered Straight Shaft String Trimmer/Brush Cutter With Split Shaft

Poulan Pro PP325 17-Inch 25cc 2-Cycle Gas Powered Straight Shaft String Trimmer/Brush Cutter With Split Shaft Review

Purchased from Amazon.com with free shipping. Drop ships from manufacturer. Trimmer is well-assembled and has a large fuel tank. It ships with the straight-shaft trimmer mounted and the blade/blade shield neatly included. Switching to the blade head is quick enough, but you need some elbow grease and the provided wrench. The string is pre-cut, and is of odd size. The line is stiff, but not unworkable. It cuts like mad and will slice through most weeds and vines that thinner stuff won't touch. Go ahead and purchase the extra line now--it only comes with 5 pieces and one 1-gallon 40:1 mixer.
Attaching the trimmer guard and J-handle was quick enough, but pay attention to which particular threads you are using on each of the bolts. The coarser threads are intended for the handle bracket and your own Allen wrench will come in handy.
Initial starting was almost exactly per the instruction book, and the carb seems fairly flood-resistant. It wanted to cough at first, but let the self-locking throttle hold for 10 seconds and it will quickly come up to speed. Do not hold the throttle or over-pump the carb and pull sharply. It will reward you with quick starts. Performance is awesome at any throttle speed above one-quarter, and this Poulan really cuts well at about half throttle. The engine is tuned hot and it revs quickly with great torque, despite the flexible driveshaft. Noise supression from the unobstrusive muffler is good and heat shielding is also good. Decent throttle response and fuel economy as well, but be ready to replace the line frequently if you trim in heavy weeds or against concrete or brick. Line changes, fortunately, are fast once you get the hang of it. Overall, a great bargain at 0, especially considering the brush cutter is included. More than adequate for any large residence--highly recommended.

waste of money,junk - Napoleon Magnant -
I bought this new. I took it out of the box, assembled it, then started it. But now the trimmer does not spin. Never wored once ! I have taken it to a repair shop and have been waiting 2 weeks. They have to order parts. I had to pay .80 for them to look at it. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. I will say that it did start up nice.

You will be disappointed with the package - Howard Davis - Salem, Utah USA
Poulan is a good brand, but this particular package is very disappointing. I thought when I ordered this product the Poulan Pro 17-Inch 25cc Gas-Powered Trimmer/Brush Cutter #PP325 9.99 that I was getting both the Poulan Pro 17-Inch 25cc Gas Powered String Trimmer #PP125 9.99 and the Poulan Pro Brush Cutter Trimmer Attachment #PP4000C .50 in one package and saving .50 by buying them in a combination package. However this package does not contain the brush cutter trimmer attachment. Instead it only contains the brush cutter blade and head. A second lower shaft assembly with the quick connect is NOT included in this package. So you have to actually take the brush cutter blade and head off with an allen wrench and reassemble it as a string trimmer when you want to change functions. Order the two items separately and you will be much happier with what you get, because you will be able to easily switch attachments using the quick connector. (The prices I listed are the current prices at the time I ordered).

Disappointed but still a good trimmer - P. Rhegness - Southeast
I bought this thinking I would be able to quickly switch between the trimmer attachment and the brush blade. You can, but this only comes with a single attachment shaft so you have to the allen wrench and another wrench to make the switch. I was expecting two shafts, one for each attachment.

Mine does not like to have the throttle above halfway. It will sputter and try to die in thick grass but quickly speeds up when I move it away for a moment. If I squeeze the throttle all the way it will die. I am constantly having to feather the throttle to keep the RPM up enough to cut effectively but not high enough to make it turn off.

While it runs it does a fantastic job. The string is very easy to change and the brush cutter makes quick work of small vines and the stuff too thick for the trimmer. The is no kickback when using the brush cutter and I feel safe while cutting.

I will look for a second attachment shaft so I can quickly move from trimmer to cutter without having to break out the tools and stop working.

Use a fire extinguisher

Use a fire extinguisher

Walking around any public building, you should notice extinguishers scattered in the walls of the rooms and corridors. Each state has developed building codes that require public bodies to have certain fire safety standards in force. In addition to specifying the number of smoke detectors, sprinklers for residential needs, and the number of exits in a building, these rules also determine the number and location ofextinguishers inside.

As a civilian, you should familiarize yourself with the fire extinguisher, use of the base. Some employers will be implemented through training of their employees on fire safety, especially if there is an opportunity to be in a situation where they need to know how to extinguish a fire. However, many people do not give this type of education and therefore do not know how to properly handle a fire extinguisher. Armed with this knowledge is important, however. You never know whenneed to use these devices to keep a small fire becoming a tragic fire.

Types extinguishers

First, be aware that there are actually four different types of fire extinguishers, which fall within the classification from A to D. There is so because the basic ingredients of extinction - like water - can not extinguish fires determined.

Class A: Used in the fire, whose sources are fuels such as wood or plastic
KindB: Used in the fire, whose sources are flammable liquids such as gas
Class C: The use of electric lights
Class D: is used in case of fires caused by combustible metals

Remember: Only use an extinguisher to put out their specific types of fires. Not doing so could make things worse, making the call to respond and dissemination.

How to use a fire extinguisher

There is a basic rule you should remember when headed to a fire extinguisher to putFire: PASS. This logo represents the next series of events:

Pull The Pin extinguisher
Aim the extinguisher at the base of the flame
Squeeze the lever
Sweep the nozzle from left to right by a fire

Following these steps, you're fighting the fire more efficiently and a higher probability of extinction of the flame.

Tanaka TBC-240PF 23-cc 1-1/2-HP 2-Stroke Engine Straight Shaft Grass Trimmer (CARB Compliant)

Tanaka TBC-240PF 23-cc 1-1/2-HP 2-Stroke Engine Straight Shaft Grass Trimmer (CARB Compliant) Review

FINALLY, a trimmer that I'm very happy with ... my Tanaka 240PF!

I tried several different brand trimmers, Sears Craftsman professional model (0), a Ryobi from Home Depot (7), Echo, Stihl, and a few others. I usually buy Husqvarna products, but not this time.

This Tanaka trimmer is amazing. It trims weeds as if they are made of butter with it barely running above idle! So far, I haven't needed to run it past 50% throttle! This is also the quietest trimmer I've ever used. You can actually carry on a normal conversation without raising your voice, while it's running. (if needed)

The bumper feed works so silky smooth that I wasn't sure it was feeding string at all - but it was! Because I never saw the string get shorter, I assumed there was a problem. No problem at all! I had bought the "no brainer" optional spooler, but I see no reason to use it because the standard spool is flawless.

I suppose that after experiencing past trimmers, including all the headaches, I wasn't used to a trimmer that actually works properly. This Tanaka is certainly in a different class, a commercial grade without a doubt.

Before I bought this Tanaka, I did read the other reviews regarding a few problems and complaints of it being made in China instead of Japan. Personally, I'm glad I ignored these comments.

The only criticism I have is - the gas cap leaks slowly if the trimmer is not level, whether you stand/hang it vertically or if you lay it down. It simply cannot be set down or hung tilted to one side. I can deal with this minor oversight.

As a summary and in my opinion, this trimmer is the best. I felt obligated to leave a review because there were only 2 reviews present. I hope mine has helped you make a decision.
Cheers, Jeff

Well engineered - R. Mcintire - Los Angeles, CA USA
I'm a homeowner with a large yard, both hillside and level. What I wanted was a high end homeowner/entry level commercial trimmer and that's what I got. I am very satisfied with the Tanaka. I tried out Shindawa (T242 as a matter of fact), a number of Echo's, Husquevarnas, and Stihls. For my purposes the Tanaka balanced better, and felt as light or lighter, than the others. All of which are good.

A commercial dealer told me the Tanaka's don't break down and that Tanaka has trouble making money since they don't sell that many parts. You judge.

First chance I got I put it together (btw, no shipping damage from Amazon--of course they'd cover it anyway) and took it into the yard to test on 2-3 ft grass (foxtails, wild oat, alfalfa, others) mixed with woody weeds, 1/2" average diameter. Don't know the name, but tough stuff. Leaf shaped like a geranium. The Tanaka just took them out, didn't bog down at all. When I when into some really thick stuff I had to slow down a bit. But it took it all out. Including some dead birch branches, maybe 1/4 to 1/2", I hadn't cleaned up yet.

Oh yeah. It has a 2 year commercial use warranty. 3 yr home use.

So far so good. If I have problems I'll report back.

Not a great choice - Thomas Hargis Jr. - Balto.MD
I had two of these shipped and both times they were damaged from the factory in the box. After inspection I also noticed this is made in China, not Japan like most other Tanaka stuff. Don't waste your time like I did, spend the extra and get a Shindawa T242. This unit would never make it in the real world.

Drill Makita 18V Lithium-Ion Battery

Makita 18v lithium ion for two different wireless drill, including BDF451 and BDF452. Although it has many similar characteristics, the two exercises are very variable, including a price difference of $ 100. The BDF451 is blue, while the BDF452 is white, but is the least of their differences. To facilitate comparison, let us call them by their color rather than their model number.

First, the blue is designed for owners and entrepreneurs at the bottom, while the blue is more expensivedesigned for professionals who use Drills on a regular basis. The differences and price differences are evident.

The watt-hour battery included varies considerably. The Blue uses 3 batteries Ah at 18 V, which gives 54 hours Watt, while the white blood cells of 1.5 Ah at 18 V for 27 hours watts. Execution time in blue is the double double that of white, including batteries cheaper to fit a price of Value Line. The chargers are also different. Although both havefans, the Blue's charger uses an optimum temperature controller to produce a more even charge.

The White uses a two-speed transmission, while the Blue uses a three-speed one. The resulting difference is a 450 versus 560 torque rating between the two models.

Both models offer the typical Makita high quality and durability, so how and how much you plan to use the drill will determine which model is appropriate for you. For the homeowner or casual user, the White is a great choice, offering a step forward compared to models of 18V Ni-Cad, while professionals will appreciate the task longer and a high torque rating of nowhere.

This is a weedeater I bought for home and my boys lawn service. When it arrived it ran rough. I quickly found out that the spark plug had broken in transit. After replacing the spark plug it ran great. I like the simple operation. It starts well, much better than a Ryobi I purchased for twice as much.

Good product - Alexa -
This is a decent weedeater. It does what its supposed to and is light enough for me to use it for a while without my arm getting tired. Good deal for the money.

The jobs of these rotary tools can be used are many, so they do not necessarilyeither limited to those decisions. How do you go when choosing the right tool for your projects?

There are two types of rotary tools, and they are cut out and the Basic Rotary Tools. There is only one significant difference, and that is that the cutting tools have larger engines to do the basics. You can add a snippet from the rotary tool purchase in either a wired or wireless variety, but beware that you will be more performance from a corded variety, while the cordless isoffer more ease of use in different places. As a rule, engines are going to use these tools, where one to five amps in its power.

What does rotary tools so useful is the fact you can use as many different plants with too for a selection of projects. Remember that you can use a circle cutter, grinder, grinding machines, polishing equipment and guided bits on the cut out version of the tool. You can plant a router, table, drilling machine, flexible shaft, chain ShawSpitzer and various bits on the basis of rotating tools. Keep this in mind based on what you use your tool, perhaps for most, or you can just decide you need one of each type of rotary tool for all your projects inside and outside of the house!

Ryobi RY30 String Trimmer Review

I paid $ 99 for a Home RY30530 Ryobi lawn trimmer at depot. The main reason why I picked it up was that I did not want a wimpy electric model and the top of the line trimmer was more than I wanted to pay.

There were 5 or 6 parts to assemble, but it was easy and I did not need to use the instruction book. It started easily and it worked well for about five minutes when the "head quit encounter" work. I took it apart and the tangle of string would not be easyfix. Fortunately, the trimmer is fixed trim came with a free header. I have the up and back in business for a few minutes later was. The string is very easy to insert in the fixed-head. If you get this trimmer, do yourself a favor and put her head'll run right into the trash and install the fixed head.

I chose the curved shaft model and the wave was a little too short for me. The 30 cc 2-cycle engine is certainly powerful enough for home use. It has always beenbegan easy for me. The engine is louder than my predecessor, and it hurt my ears at full blast. The power and noise of these trimmers makes ear and eye protection is essential. I ignored safety precautions with less powerful trimmer, but I do not want this machine. The plastic, where the shaft meets the engine is very hot and gave me his arm a slight burn. The directions do not say that cause when starting the engine to squeeze, but that the only way I could start it iswhen it is hot. This is not a problem if you know the trick.

There is an option to facilities such as a blower, edger add, and breeders, but I have not tried these.

Overall, the Ryobi is RY30530 is a fair value for the money. I will take care not to burn my arm on the engine mounting point. I wish Robi would make the engine quieter and the shaft a few inches longer. I would probably be the straight shank, if I got another of these.

Husqvarna 128L 28cc 2-Stroke Gas Powered Smart Start Straight Shaft String Trimmer

Husqvarna 128L 28cc 2-Stroke Gas Powered Smart Start Straight Shaft String Trimmer Review

Did a LOT of research online and in stores, only to be disappointed several times before finding the Husqvarna 128LDx (same as 128L, but with detachable shaft to allow for accessories)

My old Ryobi bit the dust, and the new ones in the big box stores are junk. I can't believe how downhill they've gone. Pain in the neck to assemble, no more multiple choke positions for when it starts varnishing up over time (even with proper maintenance, fuel treatment and storage). I put the new one I purchased back in the box and promptly returned it to the HD big box store.

I then looked at (and actually purchased and returned after reading instructions and learning more about them) the Echo and MTD (4-stroke). The Echo I bought had the kind of head where you put small pieces of string into the head easily, and then replaced the pieces when they broke off while trimming. This seemed too much a hassle to always have to stop and replace those pieces (however simple) everytime you hit a chain link fence or landscaping block. Some of the higher end Echo's are pretty nice, and were in 2nd place for me, but talking to a number of people in the know gave the nod to the Husqvarna. The Echo's have great motors, but a tendency to have string jams, meltdowns, etc. The Husqvarna is the easiest to add more line to, and is known to be bulletproof in that area.

The 4-stroke MTD seemed like a sweet idea, but when I read the instructions and learned about the maintenance (you need to have feeler gauges and be able to adjust the valve-lash -- not something your average joe homeowner really wants to mess with). Plus, I heard that the durability may not be there. Certainly seems there are good reasons that people who use these things professionally stay away from the 4-strokes (heavy and lack of durability).

So finally came upon the Husqvarna. Solid reviews whereever I went, and known for WORKING. Great, powerful motor that is easy starting and long lasting. Fairly light weight, trimmer head is a bump head that's very easy to refill. Straight shaft, professional style trimmer that I got for an even two bills at the dealer -- who set it up for me, got it running/adjusted perfectly and showed me all the ins and outs.
Other notes: Decent sound level -- not all that loud. Does not smoke -- Etec II engine is pretty clean for a two stroke. So far I am very pleased!

Husqvarna 128L 28cc 2-Stroke Gas Powered Smart Start Straight Shaft String Trimmer Feature

  • The engine and starter have been designed so the machine starts quickly with minimum effort.
  • Stop switch automatically resets to the ON position for easier starting.
  • The cutting attachment guard can be used with either a grass blade or a trimmer head.
  • Exhaust emissions are reduced without compromising power.

Homelite Trimmer 25cc

I found it difficult to make a decent video of it from Santa Fe, New Mexico. Most of my notes are 849 miles away in California. FedEx tracking reports that the trimmer is the house on the 9th, which is tomorrow. I will not be there when she comes. KI6KTL for me it will be stored until I have. A video will be made in detail the actual product. Repair video (s) will follow immediately after the video detail.

Weed Eater WT3100 16-Inch 31cc 2-Cycle Gas Powered Dual-Cut Wheeled String Trimmer

Weed Eater WT3100 16-Inch 31cc 2-Cycle Gas Powered Dual-Cut Wheeled String Trimmer Review

I love this little weed eater. It is so powerful that even when my weeds grew to at least a foot high, I was still able to clear them quickly with no problem. It is also so light that even my 73 year old mother can use it when I start it for her. Also, I have back problems and was concerned about being able to pull start it, but I am able to start this on the first pull despite my weakness. I definitely recommend this product especially for those who cannot lift and carry even a lightweight trimmer. I would purchase this item again.

Weed Eater WT3100 16-Inch 31cc 2-Cycle Gas Powered Dual-Cut Wheeled String Trimmer Feature

  • 16-inch dual cut gasoline-powered wheeled trimmer; 1.15-inch diameter line
  • 31-cc engine, 10-inch high-traction wheels; heavy-duty, dual-exit, fixed-line cutting head
  • Rugged metal body, plastic line shield, comfort handle with cushion; assembly required
  • Includes trimmer and trimmer line
  • 29.2 pounds; 2-year warranty

Weed Eater WT3100 16-Inch 31cc 2-Cycle Gas Powered Dual-Cut Wheeled String Trimmer Specifications
Easily the T-Rex of weed eaters, Poulan's Dual-Cut Wheeled Trimmer features a 16-inch cutting swath for whacking down whole fields of weeds fast. Great for trimming around long stretches of fence, in gullies, and around water, the 31 cc engine powers 1.15-inch- diameter line to zip through feisty thistle, stubborn grass, and tenacious piles of tumble weeds. Ten-inch, high-traction wheels truck over rough terrain that'd easily roll other wheeled trimmers. A heavy-duty cutting head is built for years of brutal use.
