This is our second polan weedeater/brush cutter, the first one was good but we have a very large yard with pond and long driveway which all need weedeating, and it just wore out after a few years. This new one has a larger motor and is a workhorse. Where it was 8 hours of weedeating it can now be done in 4-5 hours.

It is one GREAT product I highly reccommend it to anyone.

Carb ajustment and trimmer line - L. Estwick - Barbados
The trimmer was easy to start initially but unlike other trimmers if it cuts out you have to put it back on choke to get it started again. My machine does not idle and often cuts out when on full trottle. Ajusting the carb screws would solve this problem but you need a special tool to do this. This tool does not come with the machine and is hard to get. The line assembly is wasteful. Every time the string gets too short you have to throw away about 7 inches of string. I changed the head to get rid of this problem. WHERE CAN I GET THE TOOL TO AJUST THE CARB?
